Mori-Nu - My GO TO
I use Mori-Nu Extra Firm Silken Tofu to make vegan greek-style yogurt in my instant pot. I also use it to make hard and soft vegan cheeses, mayo, sour cream, sauces, and in a pinch, a type of soymilk if I thin it with water. We buy it by the case so we're never without it. We also use it in traditional ways of cooking. I appreciate the great price for good protein content.

Best taste & texture
I just bought to try it out. I really loved the smooth and silky texture even after it was fried. Flavor was light and real as it got not added preservatives.. This will be one of my favorite items to buy frequently..

Great tofu!
This product hits the mark every time. Quality is always there as well as consistency. You need to know your tofu types though! This in my opinion is tofu for baking, puddings, smoothies and more. I would not recommend silken tofu for stir fried or as a true meat substitute, unless that is your vibe.

If you do want to give another shot at using Mori-Nu in stir-fries or as a meat alternative, let us know if we can assist you with any tips. :) Just like meat/animal protein, Mori-Nu provides complete protein with all 9 essential amino acids, so nutrition-wise, it can be a great alternative to meat! But as you say, Mori-Nu is silken tofu, so it doesn't have that "tough" texture that momen tofu has, limiting its "meat-mimicking" traits. But we do have recipes where Mori-Nu does a pretty good imitation, like our Jalapeño 'Cheese' Dip or Tofu 'Chorizo' Tacos recipes. It's not a NY strip steak, but pretty delicious, nonetheless. ;) Again, thanks for your kind words and feedback!
Question about tofu
Disappointed, as I purchased extra firm tofu for stir fry, and it was not firm, it broke up. I used Mori Nu tofu before in a different country and the extra firm was extra firm. what is the problem. The product is not expired.

I steam slices of it for ~8 minutes and eat it over salad or rice with soy/Japanese bbq sauce-- it's a delicious and light summer meal.
